Reaktor Toolbox v3
Reaktor has become a mainstay of Multiples Pro for several reasons.
Not only are we using it to experiemnt with sound and to create ensembles to give away free here on the site but we also use it heavily when creating sample libraries for you.
So, to go with our line up of instruments and fx we thought it may be nice to give away all of the macros we have created along the way so that you can start using the program yourself.
In this package we have 37 seperate modules we have created or modified over the time we have been using this powerhouse as well as the original Exploration Reaktor synth and the newest incarnation, MPBASIC.
Now Updated to Version 3
The new update to the Reaktor Toolbox include several macros for playing with sound and a few effects added to the mix as follows:
I wanted to give you a run through of this in order to get it set up correctly. It takes a loop and slices it into separate instances and makes it easy to play these slices using your midi keyboard, as follows:
Firstly, in the panel view click on the sampler waveform display and you will be greeted with the following options:
You will note the “Sample” section on the left hand side. Browse for a loop to use within the macro.
Once loaded, press the “On” button and it will play and loop correctly.
Now press the midi keys on your keyboard and it will play the individual slices. The amount of slices in controlled by the “Slice” knob.
This is a fairly basic sequencer that can be used to control a myriad of things such as Oscillator Pitch or Filter Cutoff.
When you connect the Snapshot Array macro to it you can then save and load snapshots for the sequencer independently of the main snapshots included with your creation.
Reaktor Toolbox comes with a few effects and dynamics processors as follows:
- Leslie Emulation
You will also find a SuperSaw oscillator thrown in for good measure!
